Helping Hands- Elizabeth de Lassus
Mrs. Elizabeth’s classroom is intentionally designed to feel warm, welcoming, and comforting—just like home. The space includes a “kitchen table” area where students can gather for extra one-on-one support or take a quiet moment away from the energy of group learning. A cozy reading corner offers a peaceful spot for reflection, imagination, and a love of books.
This classroom is built to support hands-on learning, collaboration, and student-led discovery. In third grade, we focus on developing independence while encouraging students to take ownership of their learning and behavior. Every child is valued here, and we strive to create an environment where students feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for.
Each area of the room has been thoughtfully arranged to promote organization, accessibility, and student success. Math and Science instruction comes to life through interactive activities and meaningful problem-solving experiences. Students are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and challenge themselves as they explore the world around them.
Above all, this classroom is a place where academic growth and joy go hand in hand—a space designed not only for success, but for curiosity, confidence, and fun.
