Step into Jennifer Matherne’s kindergarten classroom and you immediately feel the energy, joy, and purpose behind every detail. Jennifer is a highly skilled, high energy teacher who creates a space where students are constantly engaged, moving, building, and discovering. She works closely with her assistant, Maryann Fasnacht, to create a supportive and well run classroom where every child is known and encouraged.

This classroom is built for hands on learning. Collaborative tables, flexible seating, and inviting center spaces encourage students to work together, explore, and stay actively involved throughout the day.

Every part of the room reflects Jennifer’s belief that kindergarten should be joyful, active, and meaningful. Students are given the confidence to take ownership of their learning while feeling excited to come to school each day.
